The Viva Verano fashion show

The Viva Verano fashion show

The Viva Verano fashion show was very unique and exciting for the Honor’s Program students to help out with. Along with this quarters Honor’s Program students, former Honor’s students and business partners of Global Fashion Agency, Kathleen Ross and Jackie Brennan ran and operated the show. After being asked to help them with this show, the Honor’s students gained useful knowledge by participating in real world fashion shows.

In order to make this show happen, students were in charge of casting models for the designer, Astrid Rodriguez for her fabulous styles in bathing suits. Make-up artists and hair dressers from Glam Squad were right at hand helping out before the show making the ladies look glamorous!

fashion show “Schematics”

Schematics Fashion Show

On June 13th, 2010 The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale presented their 10th annual student and alumni fashion show. “Schematics” was the theme and name of the show. The event took place at The Renaissance Port Everglades Hotel. Members in charge of directing the show were merchandisers and designers under the direction of Ms. Pierre. Joe Del Sordo led his digital media and video production crew, under the direction of Amy Phillips to organize and execute the success of Schematics.

After a long eventful college journey at The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, the eleven Bachelor designers presented their final collection to the local fashion industry. Each line was inspired by different moods, colors, silhouettes, fabrics, and themes ultimately based on the designer’s concepts and vision.

This event was the product of constant work during ten consecutive weeks by the Fashion Show Production class. The victory of their achievements were reflected in the impeccable organization and flow of the show from the runway, lighting, models, garments, make up, guests, and other details that only such a wonderful team could have exhibited.
