The Red Stiletto Strut

The Red Stiletto Strut in conjunction with The Heart Truth Red Dress Tour features garments designed by Badgley Mischka, Carmen Marc Valvo and Betsey Johnson alongside red eveningwear dresses from the design students at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale. The Red Stiletto Strut was held at the Town Center at Boca Raton this past February 25th. Guests were invited to share hors d’oevres and cocktails hosted by Blue Martini and Piñon Grill while strutting their stuff on the step and repeat red carpet shoe competition judged by local fashion celebrities from Boca Raton Magazine, The Sun Sentinel Channel 5 News. They were judged on the highest, hottest, most radiant and best Men’s red heels for a chance to win a Simon Mall Gift Card. A signature “Stiletto Martini” was featured at the shoe bar while guests are invited to join in on a silent auction and raffle prizes all the while being dazzled by a collection of red garments from various celebrity designers to raise awareness about women and heart disease. Also garments by Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale students Anna Topf, Cheryl Levy, Ariadne Quezada, Darlene Bernaola and Ana Sosa, were shown off throughout the event. Ticket sales were all be in benefit of the Christine E. Lynn Heart & Vascular Institute at Boca Raton Regional Hospital.
