Helium Creative 10 Year Anniversary

Helium Creative 10 Year Anniversary

The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale Fashion Honors group recently participated in the 10 year anniversary celebration of Helium Creative in the FATArts District. Project manager Bonnie Buettner, Fashion Design Instructor Chrisa Tatakis and Fashion Director Sheila Walden joined forces with six designers, current AI Fashion Students and Alumni to put on an art inspired fashion show.

These designers created hand painted canvas dresses, guitar pick skirts and even dresses made of paper. Every design was unique and they looked amazing being modeled down the runway in the courtyard of Helium Creative to DJs beats.

We would like to thank all of the designers, models, volunteers and Helium Creative for making this show such a success!
