The audience took picture after picture, as our 10 beautiful models lined up for the big finale. It was clear that the audience really enjoyed the show. The energy and the atmosphere created a positive attitude that made a great night and very successful show.

No Label Fashion Show – November 29, 2012

Since The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale usual fashion shows consist of an actual catwalk and runway models, we decided to switch it up a bit and bring a current European trend to Fort Lauderdale by mixing fashion and art. We decided to have each graduating designer do a photo shoot showcasing the lifestyle and mood of their collection. Christa Tatakis and Shelia Walden, the honors instructor and department chair, assigned one designer to one honor student in order to help them. The honor students were involved in locating a photographer, models and figuring out a location for the designers shoot. On the night of November 29, 2012 at 7pm the VIP reception filled with industry professionals came to see the show.
