On February 28th and March 6^th students from The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale Honors Group gave back to the community and helped at the local homeless shelter “Broward Partnership for the Homeless”. Sign-up sheets were hung around the shelter advertising styling by the Honors students in the shelters clothing room. Both men and women came in by appointment and the Honors Group students helped style them for their upcoming job interviews.

Each job seeker left with 2 to 3 complete outfits including accessories such as purses, shoes and belts. Before and after pictures were taken by an Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale photographer Jason Christopher. These pictures will be hung in the clothing room at the shelter to inspire future job seekers in selecting an interview outfit. The participating Fashion Honors stylists were Brittany Vasquez, Gabbie Cohen, Elizabeth Wheeler, Allison Chen, Maria Rivas, and Emily Freedman.
